Declaration of Greatness
When in the Course of human Events, it becomes convenient for one Great People to dissolve the Political Bands which have connected them with one another and with the rest of Mankind, and to assume among the Powers of the Earth the separate and special Station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle the approved among them, a decent Respect to the Opinions of Mankind is not required.
